The enchanting Irish people and countryside are highlights of our 2018 trip centered in and around Galway, with a focus on monastic sites. Some of the greenest countryside we’ve experience, beautiful stone walls instead of barbed wire, even the sheep and cows are pretty! And the food was memorable; the thought of brown bread and fresh butter with fruit jam still makes my mouth water. A visit to Ireland should be on everyone’s bucket list - we will be back!
