I have held a fascination for flight from a young age: building model planes up through my years in the Air Force. At one time I even obtained my private pilot’s license and owned a small Piper Cherokee for several years. From vintage aircraft to modern jets, our ability to dominate the airspace has been critical for advancing travel.
